Welcome home! We are Julie and Ashlyn Pederson, co-owners of Southern Hospitality Company. We invite you to become a part of our family as we bless others by designing, entertaining, and celebrating this life that God has given us. As a mother-daughter team, we have combined our individual experiences and talents to create a lifestyle brand, that encourages others to make their home and events, memorable and welcoming to friends and family.
My mom, Julie Pederson, is such an incredible blessing to our family. From a young age I watched her open our home to friends, co-workers, and neighbors, and every one of them left feeling like a close member of our family. She has always had a way of creating casual elegance that makes entertaining look effortless. She studied Interior Design and art at Texas Christian University (TCU) and she has made countless home transformations for clients across the state of Georgia. Over the past fifteen years she has furthered her experience by designing custom invitations and creating event décor with her company Barefoot Creations. She is the ultimate hostess and I could not be more excited by what her talents and creativity have taught me.
My daughter, Ashlyn Pederson, makes everything seem effortless. God truly gifted me with a best friend when she came into this world. She received a Marketing degree at The University of Mississippi with specializations in Event Planning, Public Relations, and Media. While juggling a full class schedule, she planned and hosted donor events for the Chancellor, directed campus-wide concerts held annually in The Grove, and coordinated all social and recruitment functions for her sorority, Pi Beta Phi. Following graduation, she has worked as an Executive Sales and Corporate Event Planner at a million dollar resort. Her business experience paired with her natural flair for design make her the perfect partner , and I’m so thankful she has chosen to bring her talents to SoHoCo.
While we share the same love and passion for entertaining and hospitality, we each have different strengths that compliment this partnership. Our family treasures this life as a gift, and we never miss an opportunity to celebrate every day. As a mother-daughter team, we have combined to form Southern Hospitality Company with the simple goal of serving others with our talents. Our hope is to hear the words, “Well done, good and faithful servants” from our customers.
